The 13th annual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival is set for Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. Use those dates to choose a Maui travel window. (Made in Maui County Festival; State of Hawaiʻi festival listing)

Choose your session: The organizer posts both days' hours and admission prices. Friday's shopping preview costs $36; Saturday's festival costs $9, with taxes and fees included. Use the MACC's dated ticket listing to choose your session and confirm availability before paying.

The useful choice is Friday versus Saturday. Use the organizer's 2026 vendor roster to make a shortlist before choosing your session. Saturday's free offsite parking and shuttle instructions are now posted; choose a pickup point as well as an entry time. The featured and supporting photos are used here as illustrations, not as documentation of the 2026 festival.

The official festival site confirms the November 6–7 dates and identifies this as the 13th annual event. The State of Hawaiʻi listing confirms the Maui Arts & Cultural Center venue. The Maui Chamber of Commerce presents the festival with support from the County of Maui Office of Economic Development. (Festival About page)

The organizer sets a clear standard for product vendors. A participating business must be based in Maui County, and products for sale must receive at least 51% of their value in Hawaiʻi. The selection committee also considers product mix, quality, and creativity. (Festival vendor criteria) If provenance matters to you, check where a particular item was made and who made it before buying. It does give visitors a useful screen for shopping Maui County-based businesses whose products meet the festival's Hawaiʻi value-added requirement.

Maui County's inhabited islands are Maui, Molokaʻi, and Lānaʻi; Kahoʻolawe is uninhabited. (County of Maui profile) Do not assume every selected business will be from the island of Maui, and do not count on a prior-year vendor returning. Use the current roster to shortlist businesses, then confirm any particular product with the vendor before making it the reason for your visit.

Friday, November 6: 1:30–6 p.m., $36 including taxes and fees. The organizer's Exclusive Shopping Preview is the earlier shopping option, with limited tickets. Choose it if getting first access matters enough to justify the higher admission price. Check with the vendor before planning around a particular product.

Saturday, November 7: 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., $9 including taxes and fees. The organizer lists keiki 12 and under free for Saturday. This is the lower-cost choice for families or a casual shopping stop. Do not assume the same child-admission rule applies to Friday; confirm that session's terms directly.

The MACC event page has separate November 6 and November 7 ticket links. Check the date selected, admission terms and final order total. An advertised sale date or a Buy Tickets button does not establish remaining inventory.

For a first Maui trip with only four or five nights, do not let a shopping event push Haleakalā, the Road to Hāna, or a beach day off the board. Choose a half-day within the published session that leaves room for the rest of the trip.

For repeat visitors, holiday shoppers, and travelers looking for Maui County-based businesses, the weekend has a stronger pull. The roster can bring a scattered small-business search into one venue. Compare products in one venue before deciding what to buy.

Early November also leaves time to pack gifts before the holiday. That is a planning advantage, not a promise about prices or crowds.

Choose Friday for earlier shopping. Its afternoon start leaves the morning free, but the higher ticket price makes most sense when the festival itself is a priority.

Choose Saturday for a lower-cost visit. The longer published window gives families and casual shoppers more choice over when to arrive. Check the current vendor information before making one particular business the reason for your visit.

If you are coming from West or South Maui, compare the drive and parking instructions with your chosen entry time. Avoid booking a distant activity immediately before or after the festival. One confirmed session is enough; you no longer need to hold both dates merely because the hours are unknown.

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center is in Kahului, making this a Central Maui event. Pair the festival with Wailuku, ʻĪao Valley if it is open, or an Upcountry day. Do not bolt it onto a tightly timed Road to Hāna drive.

Kīhei and Wailea make sense if the rest of the trip is built around South Maui beaches. West Maui can work, but factor the West Maui-to-Kahului drive into the day. Use our Maui driving-times reference before choosing a hotel, then compare the tradeoffs in our where to stay on Maui guide.

Friday parking: The organizer lists the MACC and UH Maui College lots. Saturday parking: Free offsite lots are at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center, War Memorial Stadium, and War Memorial Gym, with free shuttles advertised every 15 minutes. The Saturday arrival page gives shuttle hours of 7 a.m.–4:45 p.m. on November 7 and reserves MACC parking for accessible parking.

At Queen Kaʻahumanu Center, the organizer identifies the pickup as the former Maui bus stop across from the old Longs Drugs. Use its linked maps for the stadium and gym pickup points, and follow event signs on arrival. Plan the return shuttle before committing to dinner or another activity: the advertised service ends only 15 minutes after the 4:30 p.m. festival close. Leave extra time for boarding instead of building the next reservation around a precise wait. Confirm any accessible shuttle accommodation you need with the organizer before choosing an offsite lot.

If you need a car for the rest of the trip, compare available rates through Discount Hawaii Car Rental. This is an affiliate link, and HawaiiGuide may earn a commission. The company advertises no prepayment or cancellation fees, but read the terms for the specific reservation before booking.

Now that the sessions are posted, choose November 6 or 7 around the rest of your itinerary. Book flights and lodging when the whole Maui trip makes sense, then confirm festival admission through the official MACC listing.

Before buying, use the organizer's current link and read the stated entry rules. Check current vendor information for any business you most want to see. Do not substitute last year's roster or bag and food rules for 2026 instructions.

One week before travel, reopen the official page. Save the ticket or confirmation where it works offline, check the venue instructions, and leave room in the luggage for purchases. Buy refrigerated food last and bring an ice-filled cooler to keep it at 40°F or colder. Refrigerate perishables within two hours of purchase, or within one hour when the air temperature exceeds 90°F. (USDA food-handling guidance)

On the day, ask before photographing a vendor or close-up product display. Ask vendors about their products, and use the current roster to confirm which Maui County-based businesses are participating.

Build the trip around the Maui experiences you do not want to miss, then use the Made in Maui County Festival as a Central Maui shopping stop within your chosen session. For the rest of the month, see our Maui events in November guide. If the trip extends into Thanksgiving week, the Maui Invitational visitor guide covers the different travel pattern later in November.
