ʻUlu o Lele has announced its grand opening for Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at the corner of Waineʻe Street and Papalaua Street in Lahaina, Maui. The celebration is free and open to the public.

Choose the part of the day you actually want to attend before building other plans around it. An afternoon marketplace visit and the late Common Kings performance call for different return plans. The organizer’s timetable was still tentative when checked October 21, Hawaiʻi time; recheck it before traveling.

The opening-day timetable

The posted schedule starts with the marketplace opening at 1 p.m., followed by a live radio broadcast and marketplace festivities from 1–5 p.m. A welcome is listed at 5 p.m., and the Maui Music Showcase runs from 5:15–8 p.m. Common Kings are scheduled for 8:15–9:15 p.m., followed by a closing mahalo at 9:15 p.m.

These times come from the organizer’s tentative November 10 program. They are not regular daily marketplace hours.
