I am not ranking every bowl in Hawaiʻi. This guide separates places with current, operator-confirmed açaí offerings from islands where I could not find a menu solid enough to justify a special detour.
A good bowl needs a base cold enough to hold its shape, granola that still snaps, and toppings with a point of view. Lilikoi, papaya, coconut, macadamia nuts, and banana can all earn their place. I do not assume every bowl uses local ingredients. Read the menu and ask.
