The 2026 Made in Hawaiʻi Festival ended on August 23. The official festival homepage now says, “Mahalo! See you next year,” and keeps the completed edition’s highlights and program available. It does not yet publish a complete next-edition schedule.

Treat this page as the planning owner, not a recycled calendar. Save the festival if a future Oʻahu trip may overlap, then wait for the organizer to publish the next dates, venue, ticket terms, vendor list, and program before arranging flights or lodging around it.

The 32nd edition ran August 20–23, 2026, at the Hawaiʻi Convention Center in Honolulu. The organizer’s 2026 schedule documents four public days with shopping, chef demonstrations, music, and fashion presentations.

Those dates, hours, ticket prices, performers, and vendors are historical now. They can show the size and shape of the event, but they are not evidence for the next edition. Do not copy them into a future itinerary.

Keep the festival as a flexible Oʻahu anchor until those pieces are published. A confirmed date can justify protecting a day. A remembered August weekend cannot justify choosing a flight or hotel.

When the program is live, mark the makers or demonstrations that matter most and give the visit a stopping time. The useful decision is not how many booths fit into a day; it is which products or conversations are worth carrying home.

The festival’s about page explains its focus on products that meet Made in Hawaiʻi requirements. Use the current vendor information to identify the business, where the product is made, and what part of the work happens in Hawaiʻi.

Ask before assuming. A Hawaiʻi-themed label, local ingredient, or island name does not answer where a product was manufactured. For food, skincare, or another item with practical restrictions, read the current package label and ask the maker about ingredients, storage, shipping, and travel limits.

We would rather leave with one item whose maker and process we understand than a bag of impulse purchases chosen only because they fit a theme.

Once the next venue is confirmed, compare it with the lodging and the rest of the day. The 2026 convention-center location sat between Waikīkī and Ala Moana, but the organizer owns the next location and arrival instructions.

Check the current program’s parking, transit, rideshare, entry, bag, and re-entry rules. Keep one meal and the trip back to the lodging flexible. If purchases may melt, spill, or exceed airline limits, solve storage and transport before checkout.
