I’d put this at the top of the list for many Waikīkī itineraries, but it is not a no-planning walk-up. The operator does not currently provide transportation. Xtreme Parasail: Kewalo Basin
Xtreme Parasail departs from Kewalo Basin at 1025 Ala Moana Boulevard, Slip F-1. Its menu lists four line choices: 700, 850, 1,000, and 1,200 feet. The public menu and booking checkout can differ on rates and surcharges, so use the final checkout total rather than a cached price.
Departures run daily, but the live booking calendar owns the available times. Check in 30 minutes early and allow roughly 1.5 hours from check-in through return. Riders must be at least 5. H2O Sports: Hawaiʻi Kai Check-In, Maunalua Bay
H2O Sports checks guests in at 377 Keahole Street, Suite E103, in Hawaiʻi Kai, then shuttles them to its Maunalua Bay parasail boat or activity barge. Its menu lists 600- and 800-foot line packages, and the boat carries up to six people including observers.
This is the option I’d choose for a smaller party building a Hawaiʻi Kai water-sports day. H2O's public page and live checkout currently disagree on displayed rates, schedule, flight time, and age or weight minimums. Compare the Booking Fit
I’d start with Hawaiian Parasail or Xtreme. Confirm the exact street address and slip before ordering a ride.
Xtreme's menu reaches 1,200 feet. Compare the package details, then ask the operator about flight conditions if the line length drives your decision.
H2O caps the parasail boat at six and can suit a smaller party building a Hawaiʻi Kai water-sports day.

Book Early in the Trip
I’d put parasailing near the front of the vacation. If weather cancels the flight, you still have later days available instead of watching your final morning disappear behind a weather hold.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, water, and sun protection. H2O's current parasail FAQ asks guests to apply sunscreen before boarding the shuttle boat and prohibits spray sunscreen on its boats. Carry cameras at your own risk. H2O prohibits selfie sticks, while Xtreme and Hawaiian Parasail list photo packages.
When Parasailing Is the Wrong Fit
I’d choose an Oahu helicopter tour if the goal is island-scale aerial scenery rather than a short view above the south shore. I’d choose an Oahu sunset cruise if your group wants a less physically demanding shared boat activity instead.
