Kauai events in November 2026 have two lower-risk town anchors and one conditional upland event. The November 7 Eo e Emalani festival remains listed for Kōkeʻe, where park and road access are still unconfirmed after Hurricane Lowell. The November 14 Downtown Līhuʻe Night Market is currently listed in town. So is the November 26 Thanksgiving Turkey Trot.

Choose the week first, then book a lodging base that still works if an event changes. Kōkeʻe needs a separate access check before it can carry the trip.

• November 7: Eo e Emalani i Alakaʻi remains on the calendar for Kōkeʻe, but the event listing is not proof that the park or Route 550 will be open.
• November 14: the free Downtown Līhuʻe 2nd Saturday Night Market is listed from 4 to 8 p.m. on Kress Street.
• November 26: the Kauaʻi Thanksgiving Turkey Trot is listed to start at 7 a.m. at the Ocean Course at Hōkūala.

Other events may be added or changed before November. Build the trip around an organizer's current page, not a copied event roundup.

The 2026 Eo e Emalani listing names Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Kōkeʻe. The program commemorates Queen Emma's 1871 journey into the Kōkeʻe and Alakaʻi uplands. Expect protocol and cultural presentations; check the organizer's page for the current program.

Access is the unresolved part. As of September 13, 2026, the Division of State Parks says Kauaʻi State Parks remain closed until further notice after Hurricane Lowell. The HDOT traffic table lists Route 550 closed at the Kōkeʻe Road–Waimea Canyon Drive intersection. Neither notice predicts November conditions.

Our planning rule is simple: do not buy a nonrefundable trip around this event yet. Book Kauaʻi only if the wider island trip still works without Kōkeʻe, then use our Eo e Emalani access guide for the checks that must turn green before committing to the festival day.

The Downtown Līhuʻe Night Market returns every second Saturday. The November 14 listing sets the hours at 4 to 8 p.m. on Kress Street and describes a free gathering with local vendors and live entertainment.

This is easy to add to a normal Kauaʻi week because it does not require a full-day schedule or an upland access assumption. Keep the afternoon loose, use the market for dinner and local shopping, and avoid placing a distant reservation immediately before it.

The Kauaʻi Turkey Trot organizer says 2026 registration is open for the Thanksgiving-morning 5K at the Ocean Course at Hōkūala. Check-in begins at 6 a.m. Runners, trotters, and walkers start in separate groups beginning at 7 a.m. The event is not timed.

For November 7: consider a west-side base only after access and the festival are confirmed. Do not choose a nonrefundable room solely for access that does not yet exist.

For Thanksgiving week: lodging and dinner control the plan before a community event does. Save the confirmed pieces in My Trip, then keep one weather-flexible day rather than filling every opening.

2. For the night market, recheck the Downtown Līhuʻe page for the current program and any weather update.

4. For Thanksgiving, confirm dinner and attraction hours directly with each business before the holiday.
